Dune on
Hauraki Corner
Completion June 2026
At the meeting point of Devonport’s heritage and Takapuna’s coastal energy, Hauraki Corner has long been a landmark on Auckland’s North Shore. Once a quiet junction, it grew into a hub where seaside charm and urban convenience meet. Māori first valued these shores for their rich kai moana and vantage points over the Gulf, while later ferries and trams made the area a natural crossroads between Devonport’s grace and Takapuna’s vibrancy. Today, it remains a place that blends history and community with a walkable lifestyle and a strong connection to the coast. DUNE continues this story, translating the light and textures of the coastline into contemporary form.
DUNE is inspired by the sandstone cliffs of Auckland’s eastern shoreline, with forms and materials chosen for both beauty and longevity. The three sawtooth gables define its architectural presence — a rhythmic composition that anchors the development to its prominent corner and gives each home a distinctive identity within a unified whole. Canterbury Clay Bricks ground the homes with a tactile, enduring presence, while Colorsteel Spanlock roofing in Sandbar and aluminium joinery provide a cohesive, coastal tone. Statement arrivals are created with Abodo bandsawn garage doors and custom front doors. Inside, timber accents lead you to the top-floor living areas where raked ceilings frame expansive sea views. Outdoor decks and a louvre roof system extend living areas year-round. The interiors are refined yet comfortable, with Bremworth wool carpets, engineered timber floors, ABI Interiors tapware, and a suite of Miele appliances with an integrated Fisher & Paykel fridge.
Every detail has been considered to create homes that feel both timeless and contemporary.
