As the Founding Director of The Urban Refinery, Charlie has a keen eye for identifying prime properties and designing developments that make the most of their unique features. He expertly balances planning requirements with strategic design to maximize both functionality and end-product value, ensuring each project delivers outstanding results.
Charlie is involved in every stage of the process—from acquisition, design, finance, planning, construction, and marketing. His hands-on approach ensures that every detail is carefully considered and meticulously delivered, resulting in developments that stand out for their craftsmanship, functionality, and enduring appeal.
Teri Donnelly
Designer
As The Urban Refinery’s in-house designer, Teri brings a refined design sensibility shaped by over seven years as the founder of TLD Studio and eight years at one of New Zealand’s leading interior design firms, Yellowfox. Holding a Bachelor of Design in Spatial Design, she ensures every project is both visually stunning and perfectly suited to everyday living.
Day to day, Teri runs TLD Studio, where she works as an interior designer on high-end new builds and renovations across the country. This ongoing immersion in high-quality design, emerging trends, and innovative materials continuously informs and elevates the homes created by The Urban Refinery.
